The first milestone of Czechia’s ARCHA project, begun last year, has been reached as Ark I, a mobile container built to preserve rare manuscripts, books and archival documents, has been sent to Ukraine. The project is a result of collaboration between the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the Czech Committee of ICOM and the National Library of the Czech Republic with the support of private donors.
