Fossil Butte National Monument in southwest Wyoming preserves the rich fossil record of ancient seas from 50 million years ago, including fish, alligators, bats, turtles, dog-sized horses, insects, and many other species of plants and animals. The National Park Service, who care for the site, are now seeking a contractor to undertake exhibition design and build for the interior and exterior displays in the park.
FOBU - EXHIBITS AND EXHIBIT CONCEPT PLAN
This project will create a concept floorplan for exhibits that efficiently use interior and exterior space in which to present the story of ancient Fossil Lake and contrast it with today's sage brush steppe ecosystem. Selected interior exhibits from the plan will be designed, fabricated, and installed. The period of performance will start approximately October 29, 2018 and end June 30, 2020. All final documents and exhibits will have the following delivery, acceptance, and FOB point: Fossil Butte National Monument, 864 Chicken Creek Road, Kemmerer, WY 83101.
