16th September, 2024 The Art Institute of Chicago received a $75 million donation from Aaron I. Fleischman and Lin Lougheed, its largest naming gift ever, for a new modern and contemporary art building. Named after the donors, the building is part of a campus expansion plan initiated in 2019 with architecture firm Barozzi Veiga.
