Clare, officially named the Municipality of the District of Clare, is a district municipality in western Nova Scotia, Canada. The township was settled in 1768 by Acadian families who had returned to Nova Scotia from exile. Before the establishment of Clare, the Mi'kmaw knew the area as Wagweiik. The Municipality of the District of Clare is seeking proposals from contractors to design Interpretive Panels for the Acadian Shores Interpretive Tour.

The Municipality of Clare will tender and hire professional design services to undertake the following design activities.
• Liaise with project steering committee to create a new interpretive panel design template. Each panel will include a main section for images and text, a “Did you Know?” section, a ‘What to See and Do” section, a video vignette section, and an inset map to be created by the graphic designer.
• Create new graphic design layouts for 40 bilingual interpretive panels (31 existing, 9 new) for historic sites located in Clare (18), Argyle (18) and Yarmouth (4). See Appendix A for the list of existing and proposed sites. Panel dimensions: 2 feet tall x 3 feet wide.
• Content will be supplied by the client. Content includes text in English and French, images and video vignette screen shots.
• Design proofs will be approved in consultation with the project steering committee and each partner site. See Appendix B for a list of project steering committee members.
• Final design proofs to be provided in a suitable file format for interpretive panel publishing.
