Historic England is the public body that helps people care for, enjoy and celebrate England's spectacular historic environment. They are seeking proposals from contractors to produce Everyday Heritage Grants Videos based on various 'Everyday Heritage' projects funded by Historic England. The estimated contract value is unspecified.

Historic England: Everyday Heritage Grants Videos

We seek filmmakers to produce 3 videos documenting projects across England funded by our Everyday Heritage Grants.

Each video should:
- Choose a grant recipient and tell their story
- Focus on sharing 'hidden histories' and stories from underrepresented communities
- Lightly touch on Historic England's grants
- Be evergreen

There are 57 funded projects, and the final grant recipients and stories to be told on film will be chosen post-tender with Historic England's Content team.

Leading candidates include 'Gwenda's Garage: the Untold Story of Lesbian Mechanics' by Out of the Archive CIC, 'Home of Metal - Grindcore at the Mermaid' by Capsule and 'The Landladies of Morecambe' by Morecambe Heritage.

For further information, interested contractors should go to the following link.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 24 July 2023 by 12 pm local time.
