Traversing the River Usk in south Wales, the Newport Transporter Bridge Is a Grade I-Listed structure and is only one of five transporter bridges in the world that remains operational today. Transporter bridges are unusual in that they carry a segment of roadway across a river on a gondola. Newport City Council has been seeking contractors to develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks and evaluation plans for two requirements in two tenders: (1) Delivery phase of the project and (2) Capital programme. The successful contractor for (1) and (2) is Community First Partnership Limited and the total contract values are unspecified.
