Proportion>London have announced the acquisition of BODYLINE, the specialist display mannequin, wig and renovation company, which they bought out of receivership in late April.
Already a well-regarded manufacturer and supplier to the UK Visual Merchandising sector, proportion>london will align Bodyline alongside its own business, where it will continue to provide high quality display renovation, wigmaking and hire service.
Chairman Peter Ferstendik said, “we were extremely saddened to see the demise of Bodyline, but look forward to having been given the opportunity to acquire such a prominent company within our field of business. The addition of Bodyline to our group of companies will further strengthen the reputation we have earned for quality and innovation within the visual presentation industry."
BODYLINE will operate from proportion>london’s 60,000 sq. ft north-east London factory facility, with client interface being dealt with by proportion>london’s experienced sales team. Other companies within the group, STUDIO MANNEQUINS (budget display presentation equipment) and GEMS STUDIO (specialist museum and sculpting services) complete a rounded amalgamation of visual related suppliers.
Sales director Antonia D’Marco commented, “There is a natural synergy between the two companies. Many of Bodyline’s clients are also proportion>London’s clients and as such the group is steadily becoming a one-stop shop for visual presentation needs”.
