Leading at Every Level: Creative Approaches to Leadership in Turbulent Times

26 March 2009 | Wren Suite | St. Paul's Cathedral | London

The first in our series of Workshops to cope with the credit crunch is called Leading at Every Level: Creative Approaches to Leadership in Turbulent Times. How can leaders in the heritage sector cope with the turbulent times in which we live and still create vibrant, exciting, successful venues and attractions?

In this day-long Workshop, Jon Teckman, ex-Chief Executive of the British Film Institute and DCMS civil servant, will share the latest developments in management and leadership thinking. As pressure and uncertainty increase, standard "top-down" management styles are no longer effective. Working in small groups in an informal, hands-on series of sessions, Jon will explore developing vision, enabling and empowering your team, delegation, and creative intelligence.

The day will be aimed at leaders in the broadest sense — team leaders, department heads, project leaders, as well as senior managers at museums, historic sites and local authorities.

As the world changes, increase your human capital and join your colleagues for an inspirational, creative and thought-provoking day in the capital.
