📈 The numbers:

  • Last week, we published 239 tenders and awards. Of those notices, 81 contained contract values totalling £1,389,367,676. This is a record-high week for contract values on MuseumINSIDER!
  • Considering only around 33% (81) of the notices contained contract values, the likely total is significantly higher!
  • Why was it so high? In addition to a generally strong week, with projects now contracting for 2025, we published several Framework Agreements, IDIQs and similar notices with contract values of up to £/€/$1 billion.

📚 The story:

Last week was a strong week for core subscriber sectors, but especially for those supplying technology to improve the visitor experience, from Ticketing to Fundraising to AV. In addition to technology-based work, it was a strong week for Display Cases and Storage —there was something for everyone. There was also a promising number of new museums and architectural projects across all regions! Below you'll find a selection, but look through the full list — it was one of the strongest and most interesting weeks we've ever had!
