Norwich Castle was built in the 1200s as a Norman Royal Palace, and holds collections of fine art, archaeology and natural history as well as the Royal Norfolk Regimental Museum. ‘Norwich Castle: Gateway to Medieval England’ redevelopment is a major NHLF funded project to restore the medieval floors and rooms in the Keep and create a new visitor entrance, café and shop. The city council was seeking a contractor for the main fit-out works in the exhibition areas.The successful contractor is The Hub Consulting Limited, and the total contract value is £512,400.
