The National Trust for Historic Preservation in the U.S. (“National Trust”) is soliciting competitive proposals for a fixed-price contract from qualified Contractors capable of installing a new high-density storage and shelving system at Chesterwood, a Site of the National Trust, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

This project is supported with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (“IMLS), a federal agency. This RFP is offered in compliance with the federal government’s rules and regulations for procurement.

This project involves the creation and installation of mechanically assisted, carriage-mounted high-density mobile storage and shelving units, support rails, and fabrication, including levelling of support rails.

A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 11 October 2023.

The deadline for submission of questions is 24 October 2023.
