The Bureau of Land Management in Washington and Oregon administers a variety of landscapes for multiple use over more than 16 million acres of public land in these two states in the US northwest. These lands host complex natural systems that provide habitat to thousands of plant and animal species and are managed to overall promote landscape health. They have been seeking contractors to provide cultural research investigations services in various locations across Western Oregon, on a task by task basis over five years. The successful contractors are Paleowest LLC., Native-X Archaeological Services and Evans & De Shazo, Inc. The estimated contract value is $30,000 for each award.
