Postal Museum Seeks CEO to Oversee Move out of London

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000

The British Postal Museum and Archive cares for 400 years of the history of Royal Mail and the postal industry.  The British postal services helped to shape the modern world and the archive's collections help make this story of communication, industry and innovation accessible to everyone.

Following the retirement of their CEO, the organisation is seeking an experienced and exceptional manager. The ideal candidate will be a professional manager with excellent leadership qualities and a strong commercial flair who can make a major contribution to the continuing development of the British Postal Museum and Archive (BPMA) as it moves into a new era.

The organisation is currently located in central London but is looking to create and move to a new archive and museum centre alongside English Heritage and the National Trust in central Swindon in 2012/2013.
