The Union Chain Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the River Tweed between Horncliffe, Northumberland, England and Fishwick, Berwickshire, Scotland, and in so doing spans the border between England and Scotland. When it opened in 1820 it was the longest wrought iron suspension bridge in the world. Northumberland County Council were seeking an STEM learning consultant to work with them on their lottery-funded project. The successful contractor is Iconic Consulting, and the total contract value is £25,360.
