Darlington Borough Council is currently seeking a consultant to help increase overall income from visitors to Darlington. They are hoping to increase visitor footfall, extend the duration of a typical visitor's day and encourage more overnight and repeat visits. The estimated contract value is £9,000.
The Provision of a Visitor Strategy
A consultant is required to help Darlington Borough Council increase overall income from visitors to Darlington by increasing the number of visitors and increasing the amount spent by each visitor. This will be achieved by effective promotion of the Darlington offer, leading to;
(a) Attracting more visitor footfall to increase visitor volume,
(b) Extending the duration of day visits to encourage more spend,
(c) Encouraging more overnight visits to create opportunities for more visitor spend.
(d) Encouraging repeat visits.
