As one of the largest natural history research museums in Germany, the Zoologisches Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig exhibits an impressive collection, including a permanent exhibition called 'Our Blue Planet - The Living', which explores complex ecological systems across the Earth's surface. They have been seeking a contractor to provide architectural planning and design services for an extension project, aiming to create space for the Centre for Molecular Biodiversity Research, Library and Data Centre. The successful contractor is agn Niederberghhaus & Partner GmbH. The construction budget for this project is estimated at 22.5 million € (approx. £20.3 million).
