The Deutsches Museum, in Munich, is the National Museum of Masterpieces, Science and Technology, with exhibits ranging from energy technology to astronomy and aviation. The German Museum is planning to set up a branch museum on the subject of "Technology between Vision and Innovation" in the center of Nuremberg, which is financed by the Free State of Bavaria as part of the Northern Bavaria Initiative and is scheduled to open at the end of 2020.
