Balloch Castle, built in 1808, is an early example of the Scottish baronial style popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The local council has been seeking a contractor to undertake remedial works and stone repairs. The successful contractor is Go-Wright Limited of Clydebank, and the total contract value is £319,725.
