They are now seeking a multimedia designer to support the design director on all aspects of creating multimedia tours and apps for smartphones and smart devices. About the Role
The role of the Multimedia Designer is to support the Design Director on all aspects of creating multimedia tours and apps for smartphones and smart devices.

Multimedia Designer duties
Project based work - 80%
Marketing support (design for print & web) - 20%
UX/UI design
- Design user interfaces for multimedia tours and apps for smartphones and smart devices
- Develop interfaces from concept to delivery, by utilising wireframes and flowcharts, and developing a unique graphic language / look and feel, tailored to the client’s established brand guidelines
- Create and maintain interface storyboards for all tours and apps and publish graphics for deployment following our in-house guidelines for our smart devices
- Can attend client meetings to establish project requirements and present completed designs
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget (with support from the Design Director)
- Adhere to best practice and industry standards and be user focused
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and archive work as required
Content development
Ø Research and manage project assets such as photography and video
Ø Create and maintain content storyboards for all audio visual productions
Ø Design and develop audio visual content to the specifications of our own smart devices
Ø Create, edit and publish audio visual content such as slideshows, animations and video for deployment on tours and apps
Ø Follow in-house guidelines and practices for filenaming and publishing graphics assets for our players
Graphic design support for Marketing
- Graphic design for print marketing collateral, such as flyers, brochures, posters and exhibition banners, as well as in-house publications such as manuals and specsheets
- Graphic design for screen marketing collateral, such as website, social media, and microsites
- Support Imagineear’s product development process, including designing demos for prospects and tenders
To undertake additional work as required
Ø Play a full part in the team to help address the needs of the business as they arise
Ø Offer constructive solutions to problems and issues, or opportunities, as they arise
Ø Undertake additional relevant background research tasks when requested to do so
Ø Undertake any other tasks requested of him by his Manager from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
Ø Educated to degree level or equivalent in any of the following: digital media design and production, multimedia design, interface and interaction design, graphic design
Ø At least 3 years’ experience in design for screen, print and mobile
Ø Computer literacy and a high level of technical proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects
Ø Preferably speaks at least one European language in addition to English, to a reasonable level
