V&A 3BECK are a successful privately owned specialist company based in Chessington Surrey operating in a variety of sectors within the high end fit-out market and are looking to employ experienced, conscientious, dynamic, self-motivated and ambitious Project Managers and Estimators to join their expanding team.

Job Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Chessington, Surrey

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Main responsibilities include:

Project delivery in all aspects, including:

  • Liaison with design teams, client teams and any other professionals involved in the project to ensure all works are seamlessly integrated and meet the required quality standard expected.
  • Management of exhibit build, specialist artisans and contractors, budget control, procurement, coordinating and maintaining the overall programme, also liaising with the professional team in regards to the financial management.
  • The suitable candidate should be forward thinking, have an eye for detail and quality to achieve project delivery and our clients’ expectations.

This position could involve international travel.

Job title: ESTIMATOR

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Chessington, Surrey

Salary: £40.000 - £50.000 – depending on experience

BECK are looking to employ an experienced, conscientious, dynamic, self-motivated and ambitious Estimator.

The role would suit someone with experience in estimating joinery and working with multiple sub-contractors and suppliers.

The candidate should be confident in managing and co-ordinating all aspects of tenders ranging from £100,000 to £10m+. Being highly organised and methodical with good time management skills in meeting deadlines is key, along with a solid understanding of working with Excel. Experience of the Museum fit out sector would be a distinct advantage however not essential.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collating sub-contractor packages.
  • Handling sub-contractor enquiries.
  • Compiling an estimate.
  • Reviewing and understanding the tendering requirements and information.
  • Considering all aspects of a tender.
  • Tender analysis.
  • Completing presentation documentation.
  • Understanding and finalising the preliminaries during tender.
  • Finalising tender submissions with the lead team members.
  • Managing post tender queries.
  • Attending mid and post tender interviews and site visits.
