Guildford CastleGuildford Castle was built in the late 11th century, and was used as a royal residence as well as a military base up until the 14th century; since the 1888 the tower and gardens have been open to the public, and the old gatehouse now houses part of the Guildford local history and archaeology museum. They have been seeking a contractor to produce architectural designs for the integration of the Castle and Museum facilities. The successful contractor is Zmma of London, and the contract value is £639,215.
