Aus_FlagThe Western Australian Museum in Perth has housed the state's scientific and cultural collections for over 120 years, and is now undergoing a 400 million Australian dollar (£210 million) redevelopment project to create a new museum expected to open in 2020. They are currently seeking a contractors across three tenders to provide exhibition design servicespublic artwork and museum services and goods relating to design, construction and fit-out of the new museum. The contract values have not been specified.

1) Australia - Exhibition design services

This is a request to submit an Expression of Interest for the supply of exhibition design services in relation to the new museum project.

In December 2012, the State Government approved funding for a New Museum on the existing Western Australian Museum site within the Perth Cultural Centre (PCC). This Expression of Interest (EOI) is an invitation for Respondents to prepare and submit a Response which demonstrates their ability and intention to undertake Exhibition Design Services and there by can deliver contemporary and innovative design solutions.

2) Australia - New museum public art project

Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably qualified artist teams to submit responses in line with project specific requirements.

The Western Australia New Museum Project is a prominent redevelopment project under way in relation to the Western Australia Museum in Perth. The new museum is an integral part of Perth’s continuing cultural transformation and will play an important role in redefining Perth and Western Australia. It is anticipated that the new museum will open in 2020.

Artists will play a significant role in defining what will make the new museum unique and memorable. As such Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably qualified artist teams with the capacity to offer a comprehensive response to project specific requirements, as they are being developed.

3) Australia - Supply of goods and services required for new museum

This is an invitation for suppliers to register information regarding goods and services they could supply in relation to the new museum.

The New Museum Project has been deemed as a 'major project' by the Western Australian Government. The Project has been assigned to the care of the Department of Treasury, Strategic Projects and Sales. It is predicted that a wide range of products and services will be required during the design, construction and fitout of the New Museum Project, particularly those which offer innovation and/or effectively utilise emerging technologies.

As such this is an opportunity for interested suppliers to register their interest for the supply of various goods and services.
