With an enviable reputation for quality and service, and winner of the Queen's Award for Innovation, this privately-owned business is a leading provider of the design, manufacture and installation of exhibitions, displays, graphics and signage for the heritage, cultural and visitor attraction sector. Delivering high value projects all over the world, their 125 year history, attention to detail and unique, fully integrated solution has enabled them to win key projects with some of the leading exhibition providers globally.
As an ambitious business, they now seek to build on their success and appoint a Business Development Manager who will report to the Project Director. The role is to create and deliver the strategy to find and develop opportunities in the Heritage sector, before managing those opportunities through to fruition. As well as networking throughout the sector and building key relationships, you will identify and research tender opportunities, developing the tender responses and present at project interviews. Candidates will also be required to report internally and work closely with technical staff.
Candidates are expected to have an interest in the Heritage and Cultural sector and may be qualified in an associated subject area. Experience of business development and the sale of large scale, complex projects is expected, as is knowledge of tender interpretation and project delivery. You will be commercially astute and be able to demonstrate excellent networking skills and the ability to influence at a senior level. The successful individual will be self-motivated, results driven and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
