Focus Consultants is a multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in construction and property services, project management, regeneration and economic development and environmental sustainability services. They are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London.
Focus Consultants has offices in Nottingham, London, Leicester and Lincolnshire. They have a wide ranging client base in the public and private sectors.
They are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based at the London Office. Ideally with around 3 – 5 years post degree experience, the role will encompass traditional Quantity Surveying duties, including preparing Feasibility Studies, Cost Plans, Bills of Quantities, Employer’s Requirements, Valuations and Cost Reports.
As well as experience in the usual Quantity Surveying role, particular advantages that a strong candidate might bring to the role include some or all of the following:
- Experience of Contract Administration
- Experience of delivering projects in the cultural, heritage and museums sector
- Knowledge of Life Cycle Costing, Renewable Technologies and/or Mechanical and Electrical Services Surveying.
However, this list is not exhaustive and the firm are open to candidates from a range of quantity surveying backgrounds. Most importantly, either chartered or on the way to becoming chartered, the ideal candidate will have the ambition to be part of a growing team and the ability to work on their own with some supervision.
