Grade: G (£24,646 - £26,276 per annum)

Overview

A fantastic opportunity to be involved at the heart of a ground-breaking public engagement project.

The Cumbria Museum Consortium, comprising Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery Trust, Wordsworth Trust and Lakeland Arts Trust, are major partner museums in the Arts Council England  funded programme, dubbed Treasures of Cumbria. Over the next two years we will be delivering exciting and innovative programmes celebrating excellence and ensuring more people experience and are inspired by the richness of Cumbria’s museums.

This post offers an opportunity to co-ordinate the delivery of the Treasures of Cumbria project, using cutting-edge digital engagement to bring museums and communities together to celebrate everything that is great about Cumbria, exploring ways we can reach into communities and begin a dialogue with local people on their own terms.

As well as helping to deliver the project, this role will include crucial creative input, guiding the development of ideas and the evolution of the final project, a mixture of online, mobile and traditional media.
